Owen joins The Webcor Builders as a relative newcomer to the sport. Having taken up cycling just two years ago as a sophomore at UC Berkeley, Owen's rise through the ranks has been a quick one. Cycling has gradually become a larger and larger part of his life and in 2005 he is looking forward to focusing solely on racing for a change. His goals are to ride well at both Collegiate Nationals as well as U-23 Nationals and help bring the team newfound success. A cognitive science major, Owen plans to switch careers and attend culinary school after grduating from Berkeley in the fall of 2005.
