Cycling is Ted's “Other Sport.” The top-ranked American windsufer between 1989 and 1996, Ted's windsurfing career lead him to the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games where he placed 9 th and 12 th respectively. A dominant force in Bay Area racing since 1992, Ted has emerged as a rider for the biggest races by placing in the top 25 at every edition of the San Francisco Grand Prix including an impressive 12th place in 2003. Ted then padded this reputation by winning the 2003 Univest Grand Prix a week later. Unfortunately, Ted's 2004 season was interrupted by a horrible crash at Redlands in March which kept him sidelined for several months. In 2005, Ted is looking to recover from the trials and tribulations of 2004 and return with a vengance. Ted is also the core of the team braintrust and also works for title sponsor, Webcor Builders, as a project manager for systems integration projects. |
