Felicia returns to the Webcor Builders team in 2005 after a solid season in 2004 which saw her win both the Northern California District Road Race as well as the Northern California classic Cal Cup title. Felicia comes from a running background with only a cursory introduction to the sport of cycling before putting together a breakthrough season in 2003. Her first foray into cycling came via duathlon training back in 1997, an endeavor that saw her compete at the World Duathlon Championships in both 2000 and 2001. It wasn't until 2002, however, that she began to train specifically for cycling. What started as a passing hobby developed into a full-fledged passion and, in 2003, she devoted her efforts entirely to cycling. The results were immediate beginning with solid performances in the early season that lead to an invitation to compete in the Women's Giro d'Italia as a guest rider. In addition to her competitive life, Felicia is a Professor of Exercise Physiology and Nutrition at Fresno State.
