Top reason for joining Webcor: Green is my favorite color.

How do you Go Green? I ride my bike for most of my transportation needs. My car was weighing me down, so I ditched it.

As a girl growing up in Chicago, IL, my mom used to drive me to the bus stop so I could ride the bus to school. All the time I was sitting on the bus in the 7:30 A.M. traffic jam, I could see people flying by on their bicycles. So I decided to start riding my bike to school, even if people thought I was crazy for doing it. The 8-mile ride to school every day led to an eventual career in cycling (I refused to drive in a car for a year when I was 15).

My first race was in one of the popular street races through downtown Chicago – the "AlleyCat" series. From there I went on to legit races with XXX Racing and decided I wanted to tear up the junior scene. After winning a silver medal at the Junior World Championships in 2004, I got a ride from T-Mobile for the following two years to check out the professional cycling scene and gather some experience.

After this, I took a year off of cycling to explore other options, but eventually decided cycling was really it for me; so in May 2006, I hopped on a bike again with Targetraining. After a good year back I’m stoked to be riding for one of the best teams in the country in 2008 – WEBCOR!

Other than cycling I enjoy spending time with dogs, exploring, adventure, notebooks, cleaning, and doing yard work.
