How do you Go Green?

I ride my bike everywhere that I can! I recycle all paper, plastic, and glass.

I have been involved in sports my whole life. When I was younger I competed and participated in several sports, most notably in running, triathlons, and speed skating. I began speed skating when I was 10 years old and that was the sport that I eventually chose to focus on. I competed at several national events and eventually moved to Calgary to train at the national training center and attended college at SAIT Polytechnic in Computer Technology.

I began cycling in college as cross training for speed skating, and started doing some local races. After doing several national races and competing in the Canada summer games in 2005, I decided to make the cross over to cycling.

In 2006 I was selected for a project with the Canadian national team for the Montreal World Cup and Tour du Grand Montreal. After my performance there, I was named to the Canadian national team. I won my first National title in the Time Trial and Road Race and my first World championship experience that year. Although my career as a cyclist is very short, I have gained a lot of experience in the last few years and am hoping to gain more experience this year racing with Webcor.  I also still enjoy many other sports such as running, snowboarding, soccer, handball, and much more! I love living a healthy and active lifestyle. My main personal goal for the 2008 season is to make the Canadian Olympic team and compete in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
