How We GoGreen on the bike

1. Don’t litter by throwing you gel or Powerbar wrappers on the ground.
2. Use biodegradable cleaning fluids for your bike and chain (even if you have a mechanic).
3. Reuse parts or trade with others who may need them.
4. Use drink mixes from canisters instead of individual packages.
5. Recycle packaging whenever possible.

…on the Go

1. Use a reusable travel coffee mug even when buying coffee to go, to reduce waste.
2. Avoid plastic lids on to go cups. They make no sense, especially if you are just sitting down at a table.
3. Reuse paper grocery bags as garbage bags to cut down on the need to buy plastic garbage bags.
4. Try to do short errands on foot or by bike, or, if driving is necessary, always try to combine errands.
5. Do not idle car. Turn it off. Modern cars take less than 10 seconds to warm up.

…at the Grocery Store

1. Use reusable canvas bags for grocery shopping, or reuse shopping bags from a previous trip.
2. Buy locally produced food whenever possible.
3. Support organic growers whenever possible.
