Top reason for joining Webcor: Go Green!

How do you Go Green? I don’t own a car so I mostly commute places by bike and I enjoy hanging my laundry out to dry in Europe.

Although the Midwest is far from the cycling mecca of the world, it is the area that has most supported and nurtured my cycling career. I started thinking of athletic feats after trying to keep up with my grandfather while running at the tender age of 8 and as the story goes, by about 10 years old I could keep up with gramps, and by 12 he was letting me win our 5k jaunts. Running led to interest in further challenges and eventually commuting eight miles by bike to high school everyday got me hooked on cycling. I was fascinated by the lifestyle of Chicago's bike messengers when I was younger and they introduced me to the sport of cycling through the XXX Racing Team. This team and all my friends and family in Chicago – and beyond – have provided continued support over the years to make dreams possible, including encouragement for the years to come. I am excited to be returning to racing with Webcor Builders for a second season with a team and sponsor that have solidly represented cycling so well. Thanks!

Outside of riding I like taking my dog Porsche for walks and training Walker Texas Ranger, the cat, to become a master hunter.  I would not be able to function without music that contains beats and I like doing pretty much anything out of doors.
