I began track cycling in Alice Springs when I was 14 through a school sports carnival. I moved to Adelaide when I was fifteen where I went to boarding school for my final two years of high school. I have lived in Adelaide ever since. In 2002 I made my first Australian national team for the Junior World Track and Road Championships. Since 2002 I have been racing on both the road and the track, although over the past few years, I have only raced on the road. Over the next few years I want to represent Australia at the World Championships and be a valuable member of Webcor.
