Introducing the 2010 Team - Meet Ally Stacher

How do you Go Green? I recycle everything that I can. I have a compost pile in my backyard. I do not use my dryer. When I go grocery shopping I take my own bag instead of using a plastic or paper bag.

I started cycling as cross training for wrestling and fell in love with the sport; the hard work ethic and discipline caught my attention and I became addicted.

After my wrestling season was over I went on to race on a scholarship at Lees-McRae College where I now compete in MTB, CX, and road, all while working toward a history degree. I have learned a great deal working with the collegiate team and have been part of multiple team national championships. I currently have one semester left to complete my undergrad and then I plan to continue with my education by getting my masters in education.

I find great joy in working with and riding as a team. I am eager to take any work load that is given to me and I will always do my best to contribute to the goal at hand.
