Chris Horner joins the Webcor Builders Professional Cycling Team after a 2003 season in which he was a nearly unstoppable force in the U.S. peloton. His win at the 2003 T-Mobile International and his gutsy ride at the World Road Championships capped off a season which saw him at the top of the podium at the Tour of Georgia, the Redlands Bicycle Classic, and the Solano Bicycle Classic, with numerous stage wins along the way. He finished 2003 the top-ranked rider in the United States—for the second straight year and for the third time in his career.

Chris's goal for 2004, as usual, is to win races: “I want to dominate the domestic scene just like last year. Coming to Webcor is pretty exciting; we're going to bring this team up to the next level.”

The consummate all-around rider, Chris can win any race he enters, but he particularly excels in stage races and hilly one-day races. He considers his three seasons atop the National Racing Calendar standings, his win at the Olympic Trials road race in 1996, and his three consecutive wins at the Redlands Bicycle Classic his proudest achievements to date.

A professional cyclist since 1995, Chris spent five years racing internationally before returning to the United States full time. He currently lives and trains in Bend, Oregon.
