| Imanol comes to the Webcor Builders team from the Basque Country of Spain where cycling is an age-old tradition. Imanol spent 2 years racing professionally with the Division III Relax-Fuenlabrada team in Spain and, after a brief stint racing in the U.S. as a support rider for Chris Horner and the Saturn team in 2003, he is keen on giving American cycling his full attention. His forte is climbing hills, so he excels in the harder, hillier stage races. When he's not cycling he loves to play soccer, run, snowboard and surf. |
