Snelling Road Race Report

by Lionel Syne

This week-end racing was a blast for me! Yes,the season is only starting but it feels good to see teamates commited and building up for bigger events. One of my main goal for this season's racing was to enter a strong team with a good mentality and a good interaction in between everyone's strength. I believe this week-end showed a good start! We (you guys:Dario,James,Marc,Ben,Ted,Jeff) should be proud of saterday's work in bringing back breakaways and keeping main guys in sight all race long. I was really happy with not having to cover every move but being able to count on teamates. I defenitly felt a lot stronger and a lot fresher then last week-end and was focused on prooving myself i could do better then just hanging in there...

After a moment of panic when i flatted,i realised i could really count on teamates devotion with Ted giving me his wheel and helping me to get back in the pack. Only 3 guys managed to get away with 2 miles to go and you'll learn from me i always complain on my finishes unless there's nobody up front...It's just the way i race! But i can say i'm happy as i didn't see myself back in the field after that flat. So, thanks to all of you guys and i'm looking forward to race again withyou! Commitement, communication and trust will bring us to a new level and we'll have our spot on podiums.I also look forward to McLane road race wich will be my first goal this year! Hopefully we'll have another 2,3 guys to complete the team and we'll sure do our best!

Congrat to Jeff for sunday's race! He didn't miss THE breakaway of the day and prooved he's (in my mind for sure) one of the smartest guy when it comes to read a race...As fitness will come, he will no doubt kick ass!

See you all out there.
