STEVE LARSEN
AGE: 31
HEIGHT: 1.85 m [6' 1"]
WEIGHT: 73 kg [160 LBS]

Steve's cycling career is one of the most impressive and diverse of any American. The only American to compete in the world championship in five different cycling disciplines (Road, Track, Cyclocross, Moutain Bike, Triathalon), Steve is the 1998 and 2000 NORBA National Cross Country Champion, winner of the 2001 Ironman USA Triathalon, and the 1999 Pan American Games Champion.

Steve is the owner and manager of Steve Larsen's Wheelworks - one of the finest high performance bike shops in the nation.

 
LIONEL SYNE
AGE: 26
HEIGHT: 1.78 m [5' 10"]
WEIGHT: 73 kg [162 LBS]
Lionel - a native of Belgium - is the team's star sprinter. Lionel has earned victories around the globe including two stage wins and the green points jersey and pink sprint jersey in the 2002 Tour du Faso.
 
TED HUANG
AGE: 32
HEIGHT: 1.73 m [5' 8"]
WEIGHT: 64 kg [140 LBS]
Cycling is Ted's 2nd sport. After competing in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games in Windsurfing, Ted set his sights on professional cycling. He has an incredible ability to raise the level of his game in the biggest events, which has resulted in strong performances in top level races including the Housatonic Valley Classic, the Univest Gran Prix, and The San Francisco Gran Prix.
 
DARIO FALQUIER
AGE: 31
HEIGHT: 1.83 m [6' 0"]
WEIGHT: 68 kg [150 LBS]

A die-hard team worker with an acute sense of race tactics and dynamics honed in 17 years of bicycle racing. Dario excels on the hilly and tough race courses.

Dario is also a founding member of the Webcor Cycling Team "brain trust" with a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford.

 
JAMES MATTIS
AGE: 30
HEIGHT: 1.87 m [6' 2"]
WEIGHT: 74 kg [164 LBS]

James is the two-time defending California State Road Race Champion, winning on the tough Vandenberg course in 2001 and 2002. He is a strong all-around rider able to climb, ride in the cross winds, and packs a tough sprint at the end of long, hard races.

James has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from U.C. Berkeley, and spent time in advanced study at MIT.

 
PATRICK HEANEY
AGE: 36
HEIGHT: 1.78 m [5' 10"]
WEIGHT: 64 kg [140 LBS]

Patrick - the 1998 US Amateur National Road Race Champion - is a rider for tough, hilly races. He has a history of strong performances at national-caliber events.

Patrick is also a skilled luthier and expert at violin repair and restoration.

 
MARC HAGENLOCHER
AGE: 32
HEIGHT: 1.80 m [5' 11"]
WEIGHT: 67 kg [148 LBS]

Marc is the 2002 Northern California Champion, and one of the strongest riders in the Northern California Peloton. Marc has an enormous engine and seems to get stronger and stronger as the

In his spare time, Marc is the events manager for the Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa, CA.

 
JEFF ANGERMANN
AGE: 33
HEIGHT: 1.79 m [5' 11"]
WEIGHT: 68 kg [151 LBS]

Jeff uses his cunning, race savy, and world-class cornering skills to play a key role in every race he enters. These abilities carried him to victory in the 2002 Collegiate Criterium Championships.

Jeff recently completed a Ph.D. in Environmental Science at U.C. Davis.

 
BEN STAFFORD
AGE: 26
HEIGHT: 1.78 m [5' 10"]
WEIGHT: 66 kg [145 LBS]

Ben is a multi-talented racer who excels in a variety of terrains. His strength, combined with his unique sense of humor, make him an important member of the team.

Ben also contributed his fantastic graphic design talents to the team, and produced the stunning new team Webcor jersey and uniform design, and the Webcor website.

 
JOHN KELLY
AGE: 27
HEIGHT: 1.85 m [6' 1"]
WEIGHT: 77 kg [170 LBS]
John is a strong rider who excels in time-trials. He is one of the nation's top track riders, and excels in the individual pursuit. Perhaps his best result though was in the 2000 Olympic Trials, where he placed 5th in the 40k Time Trial.
 
DAVE WYANDT
AGE: 26
HEIGHT: 1.78 m [5' 10"]
WEIGHT: 68 kg [150 LBS]
Dave has a wealth of experience in cyclocross and moutain bike races that give him an edge on tight, technical courses. His is also a strong all-around rider and able to climb well, ride in echelons, and recover well in multi-day events.
