Christine's athletic life began with cross-country and track running from junior high through her college years. She began road cycling in 1998 while attending medical school at Stanford University. In 1998, she qualified for Collegiate National Championships as a member of the highly successful Stanford womens's team, helping her teammate win the overall individual omnium, and helping Stanford secure second place in the team competition. A gifted climber and talented time trailist, Christine will be a top threat in all National events. Christine received her medical degree from Stanford University in 1999, was Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 2002 and is currently a Postdoctoral fellow in Rheumatology at Stanford University.
