| Felicia comes from a running background with only a cursory introduction to the sport of cycling before putting together a breakthrough season in 2003. Her first foray into cycling came via duathlon training back in 1997, yet it wasn't until 2002 that she began to train specifically for cycling. What started as a passing hobby developed into a full-fledged passion and, in 2003, she devoted her efforts entirely to cycling. The results were immediate beginning with solid performances in the early season that lead to an invitation to compete in the Women's Giro d'Italia as a guest rider. With such prodigious talent, the team hopes for big things from Felicia in 2004. In addition to her competitive life, Felicia is a Professor of Exercise Physiology and Nutrition at California State University Fresno. |
